This has been an interesting week. I hope Ya’lls week was great! Our Bible study was good this week but not many could show up because of the National going on. We talked about the Kingdom of Heaven and sacrificing for the gospel. Wednesday was crazy! We were on lock down all day. There were severe weather alerts all over our mission. A lot of tornado watches were issued and so our mission kept us inside all day. We had another missionary companionship stay at our apartment for the night. That was nice because it kept us from going insane. It gets so boring being in an apartment. One of the missionaries and I talked for like 8 hours on the mission, things we can do to improve, how we can organize stuff better, and about business after we get home. I also worked on a big training I had to give on Friday to the leadership in the mission. It was a good thing we had that lock down because it gave me time to get it all straight. My training ended up going really well to. All Friday we were in Macon for the meeting. It was a solid meeting and one of the best that I have been to. Our president is really pushing a lot of things in our mission.
Everyone went out of town this week for the National. All our investigators were gone. We didn’t get to see any of them so we went contacting this week. We also did service for a lady one Saturday. While we were there, four of us ate worms. They didn’t taste like anything at first and then all of the sudden you get a nasty flavor in your mouth. It’s pretty bad and leaves a nasty after taste. That’s one of the weirdest things I have ever eaten though.
Last night we went over to the family who gave us tickets to the Masters and had steaks. They were so good. The guy really knows how to cook them. I don’t know what he does but they were the bomb! Its been a good week though. I hope ya’ll have a great week and thank you for all you do.
